2024 Award of Distinction Application

The SSMU Awards of Distinction are designed to recognize students with strengths in extra-curricular activities and academics at McGill University. Elevate your accomplishments and stand out among your peers as scholarships are bestowed upon individuals who epitomize excellence, dedication, and a commitment to making a lasting impact on the McGill community.

If you’re an active SSMU member who has completed a minimum of twelve credits in the current academic year and is not graduating, you’re already eligible to apply.

Scholarships will be awarded to winners to recognize and honor the recipient’s accomplishments and provide practical support to help further their academic journey and future pursuits.

If you have extenuating circumstances which you would like the SSMU Funding Committee to know, please provide any necessary documentation. You can also provide a self-assessment of financial need, such as a similar document used by the Scholarships and Student Aid Office (SSAO).
